For those who have experienced the allure and intrigue of the horse, there is simply nothing that compares. Once you set foot into the equestrian world, the magic is hard to resist, from the sweet smell of hay and leather to the pure joy of the warm breath of your four-legged companion. Hours spent in the saddle are seldom wasted, wandering country lanes and straying from the trodden path to find magical woodland adventures and traverse amongst nature in an incomparable way.

2026 is the Year of the Horse, and what better way to mark the occasion than to pay full homage to our equine friends with our new collection The Joy Ride.

2026 is the Year of the Horse, and what better way to mark the occasion than to pay full homage to our equine friends with our new collection The Joy Ride. This stunning new collection is a nod to Clare’s personal appreciation for the noble steed, spanning many years of happy hacking around the English countryside with her favourite mount, most recently the stunning Doris. It is from this deep-rooted love and lived experience that the spirit of the collection naturally extends into the heart of the brand itself.

As many CH stalwarts will know, Clare is a familiar face at the most-loved equestrian events in the UK, from Burghley to Cheltenham Races and The Horse of the Year Show. This personal and brand affiliation is coupled with a deep appreciation for the horse as part of the fabric of the British countryside.

“I wanted to celebrate the true spirit of the horse with my new collection. This season, I have stepped away from my traditional style and embraced a more playful and romantic approach that captures the passion and freedom of this remarkable creature. Inspired by the arts and crafts era, I added elements of Romany culture to enrich the original artwork behind these designs."

"I also wanted my customers to feel as if they were whirling on a carousel, allowing them to reconnect with the joy and wonder of childhood memories. This season, I’ve been bold, I’ve had some fun, and I think you will agree that I have not disappointed!” - Clare Haggas

The new collection, available across all sizes (including our ever-popular Twillies!), features a range of striking colourways, from the uplifting and playful Liberty Blue and Portobello Pink, to the demure and classy Noble Navy and, of course, one of our favourites, the standout Galloping Gold. Each colourway has been created to reflect the sense of joy, freedom and companionship that horses bring to our lives, whether in the saddle or simply in the presence of these wonderful animals.
