Woodcocks are one of the most enigmatic and elusive little birds that we are lucky enough to have here in the U.K. I love their amazing camouflage which keeps them safe from predators amongst our autumnal woodlands. Severely under threat and in huge decline these wonderful little birds need all the help they can get.
